Rookie Minors

Rookie Minors is the next step transitioning players towards the Minors division. This division stresses skills development, peer pitching and more “real game experience.” Unlike Minors, where players pitch to each other from a full 46 foot mound, a closer 38 foot pitching distance is used. After 3 called balls, the batting team’s coach will pitch. No batter walks. Batters either hit or strike out.
